Stranger than Fact is Shaina Lerner and Jacob Lopez. 

Shaina was born in Rochester, NY and after moving around the country landed in Eureka, CA. With style and noise she fuses classical piano with futuristic synths to make your heart pulse. Looping, guitar, keys, vocals together to create unique symphonies that are built live at every performance. Her songs are autobiographical story of life, love, consciousness, and politics. She works as a sound engineer by night and musician by other nights. Always inspired by music or friends while surrounded by the beauty of nature and the magic of Humboldt County. 

Jacob was born in Arcata, CA. Passionate for hitting the drums, while involving little nuances and timings, he made the perfect drummer for Stranger Than Fact. Not ready to just fit a straightforward rhythm pocket, he explores for new skills and techniques like a dj searches for records. He is a positive force in the music, keeping the balance between him and Shaina complimentary and progressive.
